45-Day-Old Palestinian Baby Dies as Gaza Food and Milk Shortages Worsen
July 12, 2026
She lived for just 45 days.
No child should die because there is no milk.
Just 45 days was the journey of infant Nada Ibrahim Deeb in this life. The displaced baby from Jabalia passed away inside a tent lacking the most basic necessities, after her family was unable to provide milk and essential supplies.
For her parents, this was not simply a shortage.
It was the loss of a daughter who should have had a lifetime ahead of her.
As aid restrictions, destruction, and the collapse of essential services continue to devastate civilian life, the youngest and most vulnerable are paying the highest price.
A baby should never die waiting for food.
Every hour without adequate humanitarian assistance means more families face impossible choices—and more children risk becoming names in another heartbreaking headline.
The measure of our humanity is whether we allow infants to die from preventable deprivation while the world watches.
She wasn’t a number.
She wasn’t collateral.
She was a CHILD.

English Script:
What was this little girl’s fault? She was living in a tent and ended up dying inside it. After a thousand days, our children are still dying from hunger. This child died from malnutrition, with no medical care available, just living in school buildings. No ventilation, no care, nothing at all. No one is looking after these children or even checking on them. Her mother put her to bed this morning, and about an hour ago she found her dead.
