Imagine being given exactly 30 minutes at gunpoint to grab whatever you can carry before the military bulldozes your entire life into rubble.
That is the horrific reality for two Palestinian families—including eight children—whose home in the occupied West Bank was just completely destroyed.
The home was built back in 2016 through Israel’s own highly restrictive permit process. Just days before the bulldozers arrived, a lawyer confirmed that the property was legally protected under an active court order. The occupation forces completely ignored their own judicial system.
In 2026 alone, Israel has forcibly displaced more than 3,000 Palestinians through state-sanctioned home demolitions and violent settler attacks. They want to make the West Bank unlivable so they can steal the land.
