At the Nexus Symposium 2026, titled ‘Middle East Diplomacy: The Inevitability of Tragedy?’, Dutch diplomat and veteran UN official Sigrid Kaag laid bare the brutal, asymmetrical reality. The “two-state solution” hasn’t failed, it’s been used as a diplomatic smoke screen by the international community to look the other way while Palestine is systematically erased on the ground.
They want us to believe peace is just a few meetings away, while actively funding and protecting the infrastructure destroying it.
