Independent Russian-Israeli journalist Andrey X (@andreyxofficial ) reports live from Nablus in the occupied West Bank, detailing a complete military blockade and siege on Palestinian towns.
All gates and checkpoints around Nablus and Ramallah are closed, locking residents inside and trapping journalists under direct gunpoint.
Ambulances are being blocked from passing through checkpoints, forcing women in labor to give birth in lines while waiting for access to medical care.
As military forces seal off towns, settler militias gather on hilltops and outskirts, raising fears of coordinated attacks on civilian areas.
“Women are giving birth in line in front of checkpoints… Imagine whether you can leave your own house depending on the whim of a hostile military occupying your city”, he said.
Imagine if your ability to leave your home, seek emergency medical care, or protect your family was governed by a hostile army at your doorstep.
