Palestinian Family Under Siege as Israeli Settlers and Soldiers Block West Bank Home

Journalist Andrey X (@the.andrey.x ) reports from the West Bank, where Israeli settlers—backed by IDF soldiers—have surrounded the Abu Rida family home in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus. Settlers built a makeshift structure outside the home, blocked roads with rocks, and cut power lines to intentionally starve out the family and prevent food or medical supplies from entering. Extremist settlers have spent months trying to forcibly seize the summit property, forcing family members to guard the house in shifts around the clock. Israeli soldiers arrived on scene, joined the settlers in prayer and selfies, and enforced the blockade instead of removing the trespassers. Blocking access roads to cut off essential food, water, and emergency entry for family members and children trapped inside.
