Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir published a video on social media showcasing himself inside Damon Prison, boasting about the severe, degraded conditions imposed on Palestinian female prisoners.
As reported by Al Jazeera English, Ben-Gvir directly dismissed complaints regarding lack of water, medical neglect, and basic hygienic necessities, declaring to the inmates that he is “pleased with these conditions” and promising to enforce a policy of the “bare minimum”.
Filming female prisoners describing going days without clean water or showers and publicly bragging about enforcing harsh conditions.
Prison should never become a place where humiliation is celebrated.
