Doctors heading into Gaza have had it happen to them again and again. Powdered formula for starving infants, confiscated at the crossing. One British surgeon said it was the only thing they took out of his entire luggage — every single container, gone. A nurse watched Israeli forces throw away formula brought by international aid workers.
Meanwhile: 90% of pregnant and nursing mothers in Gaza are severely malnourished and can’t produce milk. Babies need formula to survive. And the one thing standing between them and starvation is being seized at the border by “our greatest ally.”
This isn’t collateral damage. This is a documented, repeated choice made against infants who did nothing but exist.
Jake Shields said it plainly: could you imagine taking children’s baby formula? You don’t have to imagine it. It’s happening, on camera, confirmed by doctors from multiple countries.

Yes, absolutely. I mean, I spent quite a bit of time on the pediatric intensive care unit because there are patients there. Appalling malnutrition and a lot of doctors I know who have taken in formula feed because they knew there was such a shortage. None has been allowed in by the Israelis since the last week.
And you go through a checkpoint, you get searched as a doctor. And if you’ve got any baby formula in your pockets or in your bag, they would confiscate it from you?
Very specifically confiscating that. Nothing else. They confiscated every single carton of formula feed that these doctors would take.
Can you think of any reason other than that they just don’t want you to give it to the babies.
That’s way worse than you being hungry. So these fuckers to make sure their kids can’t eat, how people can’t speak up when they see this and how they have compassion.
When your kids are Palestinians, so you see that you must see your own children.
