Visa revoked without warning, without cause, one day after he addressed a CAIR gala. Bundled into a vehicle with blacked-out windows. Held for over two weeks. Homeland Security later accused him of “supporting” the October 7 attacks — for saying the violence was a consequence of decades of oppression, not a celebration of it.
No charges. No crime. Just a man whose words about Palestine made him a target of the same government mediating a Gaza ceasefire with one hand while jailing its critics with the other.
He came home and said it plainly: this wasn’t just an attack on him. It was an attack on the freedom of anyone, anywhere, who dares to speak.
