Half of them are children. 15 million people displaced — the biggest displacement crisis anywhere in the world right now. Famine confirmed in parts of Darfur and Kordofan. An entire generation growing up in transit camps, malnourished, orphaned, alone.
Gillian Anderson isn’t asking for sympathy. She’s asking for action, because UNICEF’s own appeal for Sudan is only 16% funded — meaning millions of children are being left without water, food, or protection simply because the world stopped looking.
