Palmer Luckey Criticized Over Call to Use Oxytocin to Increase Birth Rates and Keep Women Married
October 11, 2026
“I WOULD TRY TO END THE TRAGEDY OF DIVORCE WITH OXYTOCIN DOPING FOR MARRIAGE COUNSELING.”
That’s Anduril founder Palmer Luckey, a defense billionaire, answering a simple question: what would you build if you were starting from zero today?
His pitch: dose couples who are coming apart with “the mammal pair bonding chemical.” He said it’s “used for women who don’t bond with their kids, and now for women who don’t bond with their husbands.” He called it “totally unregulated, which is great,” and said you can buy a kilogram from a chemical supplier right now. And he said “most of the people who don’t want to stay together should stay together, especially for their kids.”
Read that last part again. The goal isn’t helping people who want to stay together. It’s getting people who don’t want to stay together to stay anyway, with a drug.
Activist Cheyenne Hunt’s response: “Right-wing tech CEO suggests ‘doping’ women with oxytocin to force them to bond with their husbands and end the ‘tragedy of divorce.’ This is part of a radical forced marriage and forced birth agenda that sees women’s autonomy as a threat.”
Women aren’t a problem to be medicated into staying.
A tech elite who looks at declining marriage rates and dreams up chemical control schemes to strip women of their bodily autonomy isn’t hiding what he thinks of us anymore. It’s showing you.
