Daizy Gedeon Reports From the Ruins of South Lebanon in Reel Talk Special
October 14, 2026
Behind the ruins are stories the world needs to hear.
In Nabatieh, I met people living through unimaginable loss, a father who lost his son, a hospital director who never knows who will be inside the next ambulance, and residents who refuse to abandon the city they call home.
I went to South Lebanon to witness the destruction firsthand and listen to the people whose lives have been forever changed. Their voices tell a story that goes far beyond the rubble.
This is not just about destroyed buildings. It is about human lives, shattered dreams, resilience, and the fight to hold on to home.
