The $4.4 Billion Resort Scandal: Jared Kushner and Albania’s Government Face Fresh Scrutiny
November 3, 2026An explosive investigation by Channel Five’s Andrew Callaghan exposes how a luxury Trump-family resort is allegedly built on drug money and forged land deeds:
A massive international corruption scandal has completely exploded after Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama abruptly walked out of a high-stakes interview with Channel 5’s Andrew Callaghan.
The confrontation, detailed in the viral episode “”Investigating Jared Kushner’s Empire of Fraud & Corruption,”” exposed deep links between the Rama government, organized crime syndicates, and a planned $4.4 billion luxury resort spearheaded by President Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner.
Callaghan’s relentless questioning centered on how the coastal mega-project was fast-tracked using forged property deeds illegally acquired from Miami-based drug lord Artur Shehu.
Local protestors have taken to the streets, clashing with police and labeling Rama’s administration a “”mafia government”” that launders drug trafficking profits through elite tourism while selling out native Albanian lands.
With anti-corruption prosecutors now freezing assets tied to the deal, the film highlights a devastating top-down system where corporate gatekeepers and corrupt politicians actively silence local youth to facilitate multi-billion-dollar deals for global elites.
When a head of state completely flees an interview rather than answering questions about multi-billion-dollar money laundering, the truth is already exposed.

Channel 5 journalist: I am about to break a corruption story to you guys. That is almost beyond belief. It’s the story of how Donald Trump, son in law, former presidential adviser and current informal US Special Envoy for peace Jared Kushner, illegally purchased land from an alleged Miami based drug lord named Arthur Shehu using falsified documents claiming that he had private ownership over a vast, ecologically protected section of the Albanian coastline. So the project of Kushner will be built on that land. In spite of some tribunals have proven that these are falsified documents. This report details corroborated allegations that Kushner, with the aid of Shehu, received fast track approval from current Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama to develop a $4.4 billion luxury resort on the land, most of which is being funded by two Qatari based investors, Ramez and Motaz Al Khayat further strengthening the Trump family’s ties to Gulf wealth amidst broader offensive action against Iran and its allies.
Unknown man: The original investors were two Syrian brothers with Qatari citizenship, two billionaires from Qatar. They were the ones that acquired the land here from another Albanian that is residing in Miami, which allegedly has ties to organized crime, international organized crime. Nobody physically has been arrested here. Not the Syrian brothers, the Qatari investors. Not Kushner, of course not the guys that sold the land.
Edi Rama: Channel four.
Channel 5 journalist: We’re channel five.
Edi Rama: So tell me what you want for me.
Channel 5 journalist: I guess I mean, the first question is, as far as all the protests…
Edi Rama: We started or not?
Channel 5 journalist: Yeah.
Edi Rama: We are started?
Channel 5 journalist: Yeah. So I guess the first question is, you know, what are your thoughts on these protests in the streets, the Flamingo Revolution movement and people calling for change here?
Edi Rama: Well, do you feel like you are witnessing a revolution here?
Channel 5 journalist: I’m just pulling off what they’re calling it.
Edi Rama: Yeah. So it’s a protest, and it’s all okay. So they have the right to protest. We are a free democratic country.
Channel 5 journalist: Have you heard them voice any concerns that you feel like maybe make you want to change certain things about society here?
Edi Rama: Oh, so that first, let’s say when everyone was on the street was very helpful to understand, to hear beyond the noise.
Protesters: Edi Rama has been in office for the past 14 years. The people here don’t want him. They want him to resign. He is refusing to leave the office. He is selling Albania by the piece. He is treating it as his own personal property. The government is a puppet to the criminals.
Edi Rama: And, of course we have taken our own notes from that. And certain things that came up on those notes are being implemented.
