For over 1,000 years, the keys to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem have been safeguarded by a Muslim family, a sacred bond of trust that still exists today.
From desecrating Christian holy sites to daily settler attacks in Taybeh (the last all-Christian village in Palestine), Palestinian Christians face the same systematic displacement as Muslims.
Christians made up 10% of Palestine before the 1948 Nakba; today, that number has dropped to just 2%.
True coexistence wasn’t just tolerance, it was family.
