BREAKING NEWS U.S.A ASKS IRAN TO ALLOW “SYMBOLIC” STRIKE BY ISRAEL TO “SAVE FACE”
April 17, 2024Desperate to avert a broader regional conflict, America has sent a backchannel proposal to Iran that was met with cold resistance from the Iranians.
An Iranian military official has revealed that the U.S. contacted Iran using backchannels, requesting permission for Israel to undertake a “SYMBOLIC” STRIKE on Iranian territory, according to a report in the online geopolitical publication, The Cradle.
“Iran has received messages from mediators to let the regime do a symbolic strike to save face and asked Iran not to retaliate,” the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, revealed to The Cradle.
He added that Tehran “outright rejected” the proposal, and reiterated warnings that any Israeli attack on Iranian soil would be met with a decisive and immediate response.
This comes amidst the war between Israel and Iran which began on the 1st of April when Israel struck an Iranian consulate in Damascus. Following this, Iran launched an attack on Israel with hundreds of drones and missiles on April 13.
Israel has publicly vowed to respond to the Iranian operation this weekend.
“This launch of so many missiles, cruise missiles and drones into Israeli territory will be met with a response,” Israeli army chief of staff, Lt Gen Herzi Halevi, said.
Israel has realised its error by striking the Iranian consulate. The attack launched by Iran has shocked both the US and Israel and demonstrated the military prowess Iran holds.
This desperate plea seems to fly in the face of all the theatrics and bravado that America, UK, Israel and other allies are demonstrating on mainstream media claiming Iran “Failed”. If Iran failed then why the need for all this drama?
