SHARE Yesterday’s footage of thousands of Palestinian evacuating to the south on foot evokes terrible memories of the Nakba for millions of Palestinians around the world. This can still be prevented— please don’t stop now.

NAKBA means “catastrophe”. We are all, without questioning, witnessing the 2023 Nakba.
This time around I pray that the people of the 21st century, who are not beaten and battered by horrors of WWII, which might somehow excuse previous generations from acting to prevent the 1948 Nakba, do not let this catastrophe go unanswered, unpunished and lead to no peaceful and just resolution for the Palestinian people.
