THE SLAUGHTER OF GAZANS CONTINUES AFTER US SAYS NO TO CEASEFIRE
December 12, 2023Israel has continued its relentless hostilities against the Palestinian civilians of Gaza over the past few days causing more suffering, death and destruction inspite of clear global opinion turning against them. They targeted displaced people at an UNRWA school in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip as well as bombarding residential buildings, hospitals and massacring unarmed people walking along the road trying to find shelter from the bombing.
This is one of the darkest times of our era. These types of GENOCIDES happened to the Armenians at the turn of last century, it happend to the Jews in WWII, it happened to the Vietnamese and Cambodians during the 1970s, it happened to the Bosnians, Croatians, and Albanians in the 1990s and the Rawandans, and it is happening again NOW.
The only people that were made accountable were the leaders of the German Gestapo who were brought before the War Crimes Tribunal in Nuremberg, while other leaders such as Serbian leader Slobodan Milosevic, faced trial at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
When we see the atrocities being committed by the Israeli military sanctioned by their government, America and other nations including the UK and Canada, Australia and Germany, we must wonder how these crimes are any different to those committed by the Nazis, Serbians and others?
THEY AREN’T!
So if JUSTICE is to prevail, the leaders of all these nations must be brought before the ICC prosecutor @Karimkhan and the full force of international criminal law must be applied to the genocide they continue to endorse.
