IS NETANYAHU LYING? ISRAELI SETTLERS PLAN TO MOVE INTO GAZA
January 16, 2024WHO DO YOU THINK IS LYING?
Contrary to @netanyahu ’s assertions on 10 January that Israel “”has no intention”” of maintaining the occupation of Gaza or displacing civilians, over 1,000 #Israeli settlers are making plans to move to Gaza after the war‼️
“”Daniella Weiss, head of a Zionist settler movement, says #Gaza needs to be cleared ‘as soon as possible’ to make way for Jewish settlements.
She says she is ready to live in a tent, or inhabit one of the thousands of abandoned or destroyed houses, adding they can ‘build quickly’ in Gaza. 👉 She says over 1,000 Israelis are ready for the move.
Weiss has previously made bigoted and fanatic statements advocating for the #EthnicCleansing and #forced #displacement of #Palestinians, saying the Israeli military should #destroy Gaza and #clear it of its inhabitants and their houses so Jewish people could ‘see the sea’.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon: I am happy that France did not participate in the bombing of Yemen even though we were in position, we had the means to do it and we were invited to do so. And whatever my opposition with Mr. Macron, I believe that he made the right decision on this subject. In the same way, we’re seeing the war move towards Lebanon and the threat weighing on Lebanon, where there are 700 French soldiers with blue helmets, and knowing Mr. Netanyahu’s habit of having no consideration for the people of the United Nations, whom he massacred like others who were in his line of fire. France is therefore, in one way or another, on the frontline regarding these peacekeepers. Should I remind you that when in the past, the French camp was bombed in Lebanon, France responded and President Mitterrand went there in solidarity with Lebanon, whose sovereignty had been violated on this occasion.
Well, in the same way, I ask him, and I am sure he hears me, that he will do everything he can so that our authority and our resources are not in any way used in this violent, unjust war that insults our sense of humanity. To ensure that the French are not involved in a small way, but on the contrary, they do everything so that the negotiation which is in progress between the Lebanese State and the Israeli government can achieve a positive outcome. In other words, that the peace agreements, which were first signed, be respected once again. It is possible to prevent a widespread war, but at present we are engaged in a process that will definitely lead to widespread war. The bombing in Yemen is a message to Iran, and so on and so on. Those who still have a history book at home should consult it again to see how the First World War started with the assassination of someone who wasn’t necessarily at the forefront of everyone’s interests. War is a process that snowballs. But we can prevent it.
