REMEMBERING SHIREEN ABU AKLEH GALLOWAY SLAMS ISRAFI FOR KILLING HER
April 6, 2024In memory of Shireen Abu Akleh and to mark her birthday anniversary on the 3rd April, I wanted to share this strong piece by British MP George Galloway, STERNLY CONDEMNING the Israeli regime for their killing of this courageous, defiant, determined and formidable journalist.
On the 11th of May, 2022, the prominent Palestinian-American journalist who worked as a reporter for Al Jazeera, was killed by an Israeli soldier while wearing a blue press vest and covering a raid on the Jenin refugee camp in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. She was shot in the head.
Sadly, since her murder in 2022 and more evidently since October 7, Israel has exposed itself as a state that has no respect for the sanctity of war journalists, by targeting and killing more than 190 media personnel. Their attempt to censor all independent media to prevent the truth of the genocide they are committing in Gaza and the war crimes and human rights abuses being undertaken in the West Bank was made even clearer after the Israeli Knesset voted and approved an interim law earlier this week BANNING ALL WESTERN MEDIA FROM ISRAEL.
The MEDIA BLACKOUT IS COMING. Soon the information coming out of Gaza will start to lessen as their KILLING MACHINE RAMPS UP TO ITS NEXT PHASE.
THIS ISRAELI GOVERNMENT IS THE MOST EVIL COLLECTION OF BRIGANDS WE HAVE WITNESSED IN HUMAN HISTORY!
