VIOLATION OF INTERNATIONAL LAW ISRAEL ISSUES LICENCES FOR GAZA’S GAS
April 8, 2024WATCH: THE GAS BELONGS TO GAZA!
Tel Aviv has granted 12 gas exploration licenses to 6 local and international companies in areas within Palestinian maritime zones.
This is a violation of international law, as 20 nautical miles from Gaza’s coast fall within the maritime jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority.
They violate the Oslo Accords and The Hague Regulations prohibit Israel from extracting or profiting from Palestinian natural resources.
They have no shame in KILLING or STEALING.
This is the whole reason for the WAR. Hamas is the only thing standing between Israel thieving all of Palestine’s natural resources and pocketing the profits to further expand its evil empire and corporations from western nations including the USA, Britain, France and Germay are the beneficiaries of those licences. That’s why they are reluctant to tell Israel to lay down its arms. They want the MONEY!! DISGUSTING!
THIS HAS TO STOP!

TRT World: Israel is continuing to strip Palestine’s Gaza of its natural resources. Since October 7, the Israeli government has handed out 12 gas explorations licenses to 6 Israeli and international companies in Palestinian maritime areas. The licenses were awarded after a fourth round of bidding launched by Israeli government in 2022. The exploration areas they cover include Zone G, 62% of which belongs to the State of Palestine. Additionally, Israel has issued tenders for zones H and E. Around 73% of Zone H and 5% of Zone E are within Palestine’s declared maritime boundaries. According to the 1995 Oslo II Accord, up to 20 nautical miles from the Gaza coast falls within the maritime jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority. The Hague Regulations also state that Tel Aviv is prohibited from extracting or profiting off of Palestinian natural resources for commercial gain or for the benefit of the occupying power, Israel. Experts say Israel’s move to exploit Gaza’s gas reserves, highlights Tel Aviv “disregard for International Law”. Rights groups have sent legal notices to the companies awarded the licenses. They are demanding that their licenses be revoked, that any planned exploration be halted and that a bar be implemented on the issuance of more licenses to foreign companies seeking to extract gas within Palestinian maritime areas
