April 13, 2024Antisemitism is a real thing. However, the weaponisation of this term has DESTROYED its meaning and it no longer holds weight!
Egyptian-American Political Comedian, Bassem Youssef, highlights the REVERSE effect Israel has caused by accusing everything and everyone as being antisemitic.
“There came a time when the accusation of antisemitism would freeze the blood in people’s veins,” Youssef said.
He goes on to point out how accusing ANY COUNTRY of backward policies is completely normal! However, as soon as the criticism turns toward Israel, it suddenly becomes “antisemitic”.
All states must be held to account! Critcism of the Israeli genocidal state is NOT antisemitic. It is an attack on a country’s actions, and has nothing to do with their religious beliefs.
