ISRAEL LAUNCHES NEW SERIES OF STRIKES AGAINST LEBANON

Towns in south Lebanon came under further attack in the early hours of Sunday morning as Israel released a series of new aerial raids targeting Iqlim al-Tuffah (the Apple Region) in the south of the country.

A further attack on Khiam City at dawn left one Lebanese dead and many others injured.
The attacks by Israel came after the Iranian-backed militia, Hezbollah, launched at least two attacks on Israeli targets with Katyusha rockets a few hours earlier.
