HARVARD STUDENT SLAMS UNI FOR WITHOLDING DEGREES FROM PRO-PALESTINE STUDENTS
May 25, 2024In a graduation speech, a Harvard student slammed his university for refusing to confer degrees on 13 students for their participation in a pro-Palestine encampment.
“”While we celebrate our graduation, Harvard University, threatened by the student uprising for student liberation, has chosen to withhold degrees from our peers… Honour their sacrifice by using YOUR DEGREES to speak out for the oppressed!””
Harvard, the supposed greatest institution in the world, has FAILED to defend the most important values it allegedly teaches – freedom of speech, truth and justice – at a time when it matters most. The university has instead PUNISHED some students who practised that what they were taught to uphold – human rights and the prevention of genocide.
What good is KNOWLEDGE when it is DENIED IMPLEMENTATION?!
