Spanish Vice-President, Yolanda Díaz, made a speech about Spain’s upcoming recognition of Palestine, stating this is just the beginning.
“We will continue pressuring, from our position in the government, to defend human rights and put an end to the genocide of the Palestinian people. We live in a moment where doing the minimum is, at the same time, heroic and insufficient,” said the leader of the government’s junior coalition partner, concluding with the controversial: “”FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA, PALESTINE WILL BE FREE.””
