China Removes Tariffs for Most African Nations
China has announced it will remove tariffs on imports from 53 African countries, a move that could reshape trade relations across the continent.
The decision expands economic ties between China and much of Africa, potentially giving African exporters broader access to the Chinese market. However, Eswatini remains the only African country excluded, largely due to its diplomatic recognition of Taiwan instead of China.
Analysts say the policy could strengthen China’s economic influence in Africa while opening new opportunities for trade and development across the region.
