“Ceasefire Before Disarmament!” — Ethan Levins Slams Lebanese Leadership in Israel Talks
April 16, 2026
Political commentator Ethan Levin is ripping into the pathetic two-hour meeting in Washington between Lebanese and Israeli ambassadors. While the world gets fed fake hope for peace, Levin exposes the disgusting truth: they spent the time talking about disarming the resistance instead of actually stopping the slaughter.
As Marco Rubio calls this a milestone, Levin points out the absolute insanity of the Lebanese government. While over 2,100 of their own people are dead and 40,000 homes are in piles of rubble, these politicians are worried about stripping Lebanon of its only defense. They are literally negotiating terms of surrender while a gun is held to their heads.
The Israeli ambassador even had the balls to say they are united in liberating Lebanon. Liberating? Israeli troops are literally standing on Lebanese soil right now occupying it. You don’t hand over your weapons while the bombs are still falling. Stop the war first. Everything else is just treason.

English Script:
Ethan Levins: The shocking Lebanese and Israeli meeting is over. And in the first talks in decades, they agreed on one thing disarming the resistance. The meeting lasted two hours in Washington, D.C., between the Lebanese and Israeli ambassadors to the United States, and they did not agree on a ceasefire whatsoever. Instead, the Israeli ambassador afterward says they agreed to be united on this.
Israeli ambassador to the U.S.: Both united liberating Lebanon from an occupation power dominated by Iran called Hezbollah.
Ethan Levins: How does the Lebanese government not understand their main priority should be a ceasefire. Get the Israelis that you spoke to to stop killing your people. That is the priority. And then if you can talk about whatever you want, but to talk about disarming the resistance before you talk about a ceasefire is just baffling and disgraceful. Stop the war, then discuss.
