UK MPs Removed After Calling Keir Starmer a “Liar” Over Mandelson Appointment
April 22, 2026
How much longer do they think they can play us for fools?
Yesterday, the House of Commons descended into absolute chaos. Prime Minister Keir Starmer finally crawled to the dispatch box to admit he was wrong about appointing Peter Mandelson as our Ambassador to the US. He actually apologized to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, admitting his judgment failed them. You think?
But the real fire started when two MPs refused to swallow the sanitized BS. Lee Anderson and Zarah Sultana were both hauled out of the chamber after calling Starmer exactly what he is: a liar.
The Double Standard is sickening. They want us to believe Starmer, a former Chief Prosecutor, had no idea his star ambassador failed a security vetting.
Parliamentary etiquette says you can’t call someone a liar, even when they’re standing right there doing it. But the public isn’t bound by those elitist rules. We see the cover-ups. We see the vetting failures.
Starmer’s credibility is in the gutter, and no amount of wrong judgment apologies can fix the fact that he tried to sell us a security risk as a statesman.
ENOUGH is ENOUGH.

English Script:
Zarah Sultana: So let’s call this out for what it is. The prime minister is a barefaced liar and if you had any decency left…
Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP: Order. Sit and leave.
Lee Anderson: Mr. Speaker, I will not withdraw. That man couldn’t lie straight in bed.
Keir Starmer: At the heart of this there is also a judgment I made that was wrong. I should not have appointed Peter Mandelson. I take responsibility for that decision and I apologize again to the victims of the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who were clearly failed by my decision. Mr. Speaker, in December 2024, I was in the process of appointing a new ambassador for Washington. A due diligence exercise was conducted by the Cabinet Office into Peter Mandelson’s suitability, including questions put to him by my staff in number 10. Peter Mandelson answered those questions on the 10th of December, and I received final advice on the due diligence process on the 11th. I made the decision to appoint him on the 18th of December. The appointment was announced on the 20th and the security vetting process began on the 23rd of December, 2024. Mr. Speaker, I want to make clear to the House that for a direct ministerial appointment, it was usual for security vetting to happen after the appointment, but before starting in post. That was the process in place at the time.
Kemi Badenoch: His reputation is at stake. Everyone is watching. It is finally time for the truth. Earlier today, Mr. Speaker, Downing Street admitted that the prime minister inadvertently misled the House. The Prime Minister has chosen not to repeat that from the dispatch box. I will remind him that under the ministerial code, he has a duty to correct the record at the earliest opportunity. The prime minister says he only found out on Tuesday that Peter Mandelson failed the security vetting. The earliest opportunity to correct the record was prime minister’s questions on Wednesday almost a week ago. This is a breach of the ministerial code.
Lee Anderson: So, does the prime minister agree with me? He’s been lying.
Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP: Prime Minister, sorry, we don’t use those words and I’m sure the members withdrawn it.
Lee Anderson:Mr. Speaker, I have great disrespect for you and your office, but I will not withdraw. That man couldn’t lie straight in bed.
Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP: Order. Mr. Anderson, you’ll have to leave.
Zarah Sultana: Mr. Speaker, we all know that the prime minister appointed Mandelson because he owes his job to him. He appointed him. He defended him and now he claims to know nothing. He is gaslighting the nation. So, let’s call this out for what it is. The prime minister is a barefaced liar. And if he had any decency left.
Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP: Order, order, order. Sit and leave. Leave now. I’ll name you otherwise. I’d go now if I were you. Leave. I’m not…Leave. I’ve given the option to leave. I’d leave if I were you. Very quickly move. Leave before I read it. I give you. one option. Right. Give me that. You have no duties. It’s my duty to carry out and control this house. One chance. Do you want to leave now or not? I name Zarah Sultana….Minister, I beg to move. That the name, the said member be suspended from the house.
Diane Abbott: Peter Mandelson has a history. Peter Mandelson has a history. And what this house wants to know is why knowing Peter Mandelson’s history going back now 30 years and given what has been known It’s one thing to say as he insists on saying, “Nobody told me. Nobody told me anything. Nobody told me.” The question is, why didn’t the prime minister ask.
