Former Royal Marines Commando David McIntosh has come forward with a chilling eyewitness account of his time delivering aid in Gaza. In an exclusive interview with Declassified UK, McIntosh describes what he calls a “sick” system devised by forces on the ground to manage starving crowds, a real-life “Red Light, Green Light.”
McIntosh reveals how aid seekers were forced into a frenzy, only to be met with live fire from snipers. He shared previously unseen footage with investigators, documenting a sadistic environment where desperate civilians, including women and children, were allegedly used for target practice while trying to secure food for their families.
Working with the controversial Global Hope Federation (GHF), the former Commando says the level of depravity he witnessed was unlike anything he saw during his military career.

David Mcintosh: You have that green light, and you have the red light. Green light, green light. And that’s why people compare it to the Squid Games. Green light. It really is sick in how it’s been done. I’ve been to numerous warzones all over. Never in my life I’ve ever seen anything like this. It’s insane what was done. It was straight up a war crime. I’ve been in active war zone. I’ve never heard as much gunfire and ordnance being dropped as I’ve seen over there. It’s nonstop. So I’m setting all the distribution up, getting it all set up, making sure it’s all there. And then we say “okay, when we’re ready”, ready and then wait. It’s the green light. Green light. Oh goodness me. Lord have a mercy. People aren’t just walking fast, they’re sprinting. They know they’ve only got an hour. That’s why there’s no dawdling to the site. It’s either you get that aid and you get out. There’s no time to wait around. You have that green light and you have the red light. And that’s why people have compared it to the Squid Game. And it makes sense because literally it’s a living reality of that. They’ve created that through the time limits, through how they set things up for the green and red light. It really is sick how it’s been done. So what they do is if anyone steps out of what they believe is a safe zone where the people are running everywhere, they’ll fire whether they’ll fire out at them, out of the fires, or they’ll fire overhead, fire at their feet. This is where a lot of the deaths happen.

David Mcintosh: That’ll be GHF, that’s UG. Yes. So they’re all US troops. You can tell by the video there’s going to be war there, internal war, because there’s not enough to feed even a fifth of that. Now that’s not all going to get to these people. They’ve got to get back to their respective families. Aid isn’t given daily. It’s meant to be. We tried. We have enough facilities. We have enough logistics. We’ll have it ready to go daily. They’ll (the IDF) stop us. you get the mass stampedes, they’ll stop us: “You’re not doing it today”.
Unknown man: But why? What reason?
David Mcintosh: This is how they play with us. But most importantly, they play with and antagonize the Palestinian people. They are sick.
