Warning: Israeli Soldiers Shoot Unarmed 26-Year-Old Naif Samar in Head While Heading to Meet Newborn Son

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, the cruelty of the occupation took a form that words can barely hold. Naif Firas Ziad Samar, a 26-year-old Palestinian, was rushing toward the Rafidia Hospital in Nablus. He wasn’t armed, he wasn’t a threat, he was a father-to-be, desperate to reach his wife as she went into labor.
He never made it to the delivery room. As Israeli forces raided the city during school hours, Naif was shot in the head. While his wife was bringing their son into the world, Naif’s body was being carried into the same hospital, cold and lifeless.
Naif Samar’s son will grow up knowing his father was murdered just meters away from him, by soldiers who didn’t care that a family was about to begin.
