“Jerusalem Day Violence: Israeli Police Ban Journalists as Extremists Attack Palestinians”
May 16, 2026
Jerusalem Day in occupied Jerusalem.
What should have been a public event descended into scenes of intimidation, harassment, and violence.
Jerusalem’s Old City was turned into a scene of absolute chaos and state-backed hate on May 14, 2026. The annual Flag March saw tens of thousands of ultranationalist youth parade through occupied East Jerusalem, but instead of a celebration, it was a display of unhinged racism and violence.
While mobs chanted “Death to Arabs” and “May your village burn,” the Israeli police were busy clearing the path—not for safety, but to remove the witnesses.
Israeli police were caught on camera forcibly removing journalists and peace activists from the Damascus Gate and Muslim Quarter. By pushing the media back, the occupation ensured that the beatings, spitting, and property damage would happen away from the global lens.
The march was dominated by young, far-right teenagers who were filmed kicking and spitting on reporters, vandalizing shuttered Palestinian shops, and assaulting the few residents who dared to step outside.
It is now a day of terror where the youth are taught to hate, the police are used to protect the bullies, and the truth is forcibly removed from the streets.
SHAME ON THE HATE!
