Conservative Party Leader Kemi Badenoch is facing intense fury after launching an aggressive campaign to completely ban pro-Palestine demonstrations across the UK, labeling them “covers for antisemitism” and “hate marches.” Yet, in a display of breathtaking double standards, Badenoch went on live television to actively defend and protect rallies led by far-right extremists like Tommy Robinson, completely brushing off their open Islamophobia and blatant calls to target and deport British Muslims.
When political leaders decide that some forms of hate are perfectly acceptable while peaceful anti-war protests are a crime, the system is fundamentally broken.
Banning peaceful anti-genocide demonstrations while normalizing far-right, anti-Muslim extremism isn’t leadership, it’s a shameless, dangerous double standard designed to court votes at the expense of human rights.
