Iran Issues Stark Warning: “No Deal” if Israel Targets Lebanon
June 17, 2026
ISRAEL WANTS A DEAL FOR ITSELF. NOT FOR LEBANON.
Iran has issued a warning: any future Israeli attack on Lebanon or continued Israeli presence on Lebanese territory would violate the framework agreement reached between Tehran and Washington.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made it clear that Lebanon cannot be excluded from any genuine de-escalation deal.
A deal that is supposed to reduce tensions may still leave Lebanon exposed to Israeli attacks.
What kind of ceasefire allows one side to keep bombing?
What kind of peace agreement protects everyone except Lebanon?
The message from Tehran was clear:
No deal should come at Lebanon’s expense.
Because after months of airstrikes, destruction, displacement and civilian deaths, the Lebanese people are not asking for special treatment.
They are asking for the same thing everyone else claims to want:
An end to the violence.
And an end to Israel’s attacks on Lebanon.
