Tracy Chamoun Reveals What She Saw During the Infamous Pager Attack

In September 2024, Israel simultaneously detonated thousands of pagers carried by H*zboll*h members across Lebanon. The attack killed dozens and wounded thousands, but many of the victims were not H*zboll*h. They were civilians who happened to be standing nearby.
In the latest episode of Reel Talk, former Lebanese Ambassador Tracy Chamoun describes being trapped in her car in the southern suburbs of Beirut for 2.5 hours as the attack unfolded, watching victims pass in front of her with their faces blown off, their eyes hanging out, their hands severed. Israel later gave Donald Trump a golden pager to commemorate the operation.
Nearly two years on, I asked Tracy how she processes what is now happening in South Lebanon, where the scale of destruction dwarfs even that day. This is her answer.
