Ben-Gvir Leads Thousands of Israeli Settlers to Gaza Border Claiming “This Land Belongs to Us”
July 21, 2026Far-right Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir just marched to the border of Gaza alongside thousands of Israeli settlers demanding the immediate construction of illegal settlements across the entire strip.
Listen to what they are saying on camera:
Ben-Gvir: “If someone told us three years ago that we would control 70% of the Gaza Strip, no one would have believed it. Jewish settlements will be established all over Gaza. Gaza is ours.”
Settler 1: “All of Gaza is part of Israel… We just walked over there naturally to our land. This is historical Israel, and this is just the beginning.”
Settler 2: “We are simply returning to where we have always been.”
This isn’t just a political stance, this is a publicly broadcasted project of forced expulsion, land theft, and total annexation of Palestinian land.
While world leaders talk about ceasefires and two-state solutions, the reality on the ground is an active land grab aimed at destroying any chance of Palestinian statehood.

Ben Gvir: If someone had told us three years ago that we would control 70% of the Gaza strip, no one would have believed it. So today I say there will be Jewish settlements throughout Gaza. gaza is ours.
Israeli settler 1: All of Gaza, all of Gaza is actually part of Israel. No reason to pull out the Jews 20 years ago, and there’s no reason that we can’t just go back, and you see how easy it is. Just march. Thousands of people just very naturally coming and marching to their homelands. This is a part of the Israel homeland. It’s just the beginning.
Thousands of Israeli settlers marched to the Gaza border to demand new settlements.
This comes after Israel announced plans for three settlements in occupied Gaza.
There are thousands of people that are here and they are marching, And I’m not going to call it a protest because it’s not a protest. We are working today to tell the government of Israel and show all the world that this land belongs to us and that the Gaza really belongs to us and that we want to go back and live there as we lived in that 2000 before when they got us out of there in 2005.
Israeli settlements in Gaza were present from the 1970s until their removal in 2005.
New illegal settlements would further set back of hope of statehood for Palestinians.
Israeli settler 2: And 20 years ago, temporarily. So some of the settlements were removed in a terrible, terrible move by the Israeli government. And we’re going back. We’re going back. We’re just going back to where we’ve always been.
