An undercover investigation by Al Jazeera Investigations (@aj_investigates ) caught Israeli real estate agents aggressively marketing homes built on illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank directly to Western buyers.
The agents are caught on camera pitching tax perks and openly declaring to foreign buyers: “There will never be a Palestinian state.”
Real estate firms are holding events across North America and Europe, selling properties on occupied land in violation of international law.
Agents pitch financial incentives, explicitly telling buyers, “You’re a foreigner, you don’t have to pay purchase taxes.”
Financial transactions and real estate events operate openly in Western cities despite international courts ruling settlements illegal under the Fourth Geneva Convention.
