San Francisco Protester Confronts Former IDF Soldier Over Alleged Israeli War Crimes in Lebanon
September 18, 2026
A man reportedly confronted on a San Francisco train for having served in Israel’s 1982 invasion of Lebanon. An invasion that killed as many as 20,000 people. An invasion whose soldiers stood guard while allied militias massacred hundreds of Palestinian civilians at Sabra and Shatila over three days.
Decades pass. Borders change. Wars end on paper. But accountability doesn’t have an expiration date not for genocide, not for massacre, not for the people who carried it out and quietly moved on with their lives, assuming distance and time would be enough to erase what they did.
This is what people power looks like when institutions won’t deliver justice: everyday citizens refusing to let history be quietly buried.
SHARE! What a brave man!
