WHO THEY TAUGHT US TO FEAR.
1960: Catholics. They said JFK would take orders from the Pope.
2008: Black Americans. They said Obama wasn’t “really”American.
2026: Muslims. Now it’s Dr. Abdul El-Sayed’s turn.
Bernie Sanders looked at the pattern and named it plainly: “In 2026, they are stoking fear about Dr. Abdul El-Sayed because he is Muslim. Enough! We must end all forms of bigotry in America.”
Every generation gets handed a new reason to be afraid of someone qualified simply because of who they are. Every generation, some people refuse to fall for it.
