Max Blumenthal: A portrait of Jewish Israeli society from the inside. Like, I was going for a few months and I come back for a few months and right off and on for five years, I was working on that book. It’s a portrait of a society that was poised to commit genocide.
Tucker Carlson: You saw that then?
Max Blumenthal: I saw it then. And, you know, I took a look at the psyche of particularly Jewish Israeli youth. And, I mean, you can just look at the polls that the Israeli Democracy Index conducts. And, you know, the vast majority of them have genocidal attitudes, and they’re more hostile to Palestinians than their grandparents were, for example. There’s a film out right now that just that’s coming out, a documentary called Naza, and it’s made by Yuval Abraham, who’s an Israeli journalist and a filmmaker. I think her name is Rachel Shor. These are Israelis. It consists of 24 interviews with Israeli soldiers on rooftops. And you can’t see their faces. Their voices are altered, and they’re describing the most sickening crimes you can think of. One of them talks about how they were hacking into phones. I guess this is unit 8200, their cyber division, hacking into the phones of young girls in Gaza to determine when their fathers would come home, and then they would order an airstrike on their home and listen to the girl burn alive through her phone…
