Bayer Faces Renewed Scrutiny Over Roundup and Cancer Drug Conflict Claims
October 14, 2026
@joebolic breaks down a connection that sounds like a joke until you check the facts.
“THE COMPANY SELLING YOU THE POISON IS ALSO SELLING YOU THE CURE”
Bayer, the German drug giant, is the company behind Roundup, the weedkiller with the active ingredient glyphosate, used on the fields that grow your favorite foods. Bayer bought Roundup’s maker, Monsanto, in 2018.
According to Joe, Bayer also sells treatment for non-Hodgkin lymphoma, the same cancer that thousands of people say Roundup gave them.
And the lawsuits are real. About 200,000 Roundup-related claims have been filed against Bayer. In February the company agreed to a proposed $7.25 billion settlement to resolve cancer claims, and it has already stopped using glyphosate in Roundup sold in the US.
Bayer’s position: it disputes that glyphosate causes non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Farmers, gardeners and families trusted that label. A company that profits from the poison and the cure doesn’t deserve your trust. It deserves your questions, your outrage, and a courtroom.
