Israel Katz Threatens to Occupy More of Lebanon and Displace Over a Million if Hezbollah Joins Iran Attack
October 15, 2026Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz made the threats while touring inside Lebanese territory, accompanied by Northern Command chief Rafi Milo and other officers.
According to Megaphone, Katz threatened to occupy even more Lebanese land, particularly around Nabatieh and the Litani, and fold it into what he calls Israel’s “permanent security zone” if Hezbollah joins Iran in an attack on Israel.
And that’s not all he threatened:
To drive all Shia residents north from the areas stretching up to the Awali and Zahrani rivers, displacing more than a million people.
To empty Beirut’s southern suburbs, Dahiyeh, of their residents.
To assassinate Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem.
He also repeated that Israel will not withdraw from the land it occupies in Lebanon and Syria, calling them “security zones” meant to protect the Galilee and the Golan.
Read that again. A defense minister, standing on another country’s soil, announcing that an entire community will be forced out of their homes. Not a militia. Not a fighter. More than a million ordinary people.
That’s not security. It’s the language of ethnic cleansing, and it’s being said out loud, on camera, with generals standing next to him.
How many times does the world have to hear it before someone stops him?
Where are the sanctions? Where is the outrage? Where are the governments that claim to defend international law?
Silence is a green light. Don’t give it.
