Israeli Politicians’ Anti-Palestinian Hate Speech Surges Ahead of Elections
October 22, 2026“KILLING THEM ALL WOULD BE INCREDIBLE”
That’s one of the statements TRT World highlights from a collection of 227 extreme remarks by Israeli politicians, documented by the Israeli think tank OFEK and reported by the Associated Press this year.
This isn’t about fringe voices online. These are elected officials and candidates, speaking about Palestinians as an election campaign heats up. And TRT says some earlier remarks of this kind were cited in South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice.
Think about what that means. Words from politicians are being put in front of the world’s highest court as evidence of intent. And now, in the final stretch before a vote, the language is getting worse, not better.
Rhetoric has consequences, especially when it comes from the people who control an army and set the rules for millions of Palestinians. When a campaign rewards talk of killing, someone has to ask who benefits, and who pays.
Israel’s own think tank counted the statements. Israelis will go to the polls on October 27 knowing what their candidates said.
What will the world do about it?
