“No Future Here Without Arab-Jewish Partnership”: Israeli Protesters Call for Coalition With Palestinian-Led Parties
November 1, 2026HISTORIC DEADLOCK IN TEL AVIV.
Dozens of protesters took to the streets of Tel Aviv following inconclusive election results that left both sides short of the 61 seats needed for a parliamentary majority.
Protesters are aggressively calling on Gadi Eisenkot’s opposition bloc to form a national unity government alongside Palestinian-led parties. Protester Noa Poliaki stated, “We simply need to take this victory and understand that there is no future here without Arab-Jewish partnership. This could be a historic moment.”
The Political Split: While Palestinian-led parties, projected to win a historic 19 seats, have offered to back an opposition minority government to block Benjamin Netanyahu’s return to power, establishment opposition leaders have flatly rejected governing with Arab parties.
Is a joint coalition the only path forward, or will establishment divisions cause another collapse?
