NETANYAHU SABOTAGING HOSTAGE DEAL TO SAVE HIS OWN SKIN ISRAELI POLITICS IN TURMOIL

In a scathing critique, the Haaretz newspaper, considered the most independent and authoritative newspapers in Israel, rebuked PM Netanyahu’s handling of the hostage negotiations and the war on Gaza stating: “Israel’s criminal defendant prime minister, more focused on saving his incompetent far-right government than saving the hostages who have spent seven months trapped in Gaza, is doing everything he can to torpedo Israel’s last and best chance at bringing the hostages home.”
Minister Benny Gantz quoted in the article described Netanyahu’s most recent rejection of the negotiations as “Hysteria for political reasons.”
Netanyahu stated: “Ending the war, and leaving Hamas intact — the State of Israel cannot accept that,” he said. “We are not prepared to accept a situation in which the Hamas brigades come out of their bunkers, take control of Gaza again, rebuild their military infrastructure, and return to threatening the citizens of Israel.”
Now he is sounding like a sore loser – which he is.
Israel is imploding from within as well as from without.
