For many families, the most disturbing part is not simply what happened.
It is the question of consent.
Did donors know their bodies could ultimately be used in military training?
Did their families?
Would they have agreed?
People donate their remains believing they will contribute to medical education, scientific discovery and the advancement of healthcare.
They do so out of trust.
Trust that universities will honour their wishes.
If informed consent was missing, this is not just a scandal.
It is a betrayal.

The students revealed university contracts with the Navy to provide training for Israeli military medics in California.
