In a segment hosted by Ana Kasparian (@anakasparianofficial ) on The Young Turks, guest Wally Rashid (@wallyrashid ) addresses the dangers of radical religious texts—specifically referencing the infamous 2009 book Torat HaMelech (“The King’s Torah”) written by extremist Israeli rabbi Yitzhak Shapira.
Torat HaMelech, authored by Shapira and Yosef Elitzur in the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar, sparked widespread outrage and legal scrutiny for attempting to provide religious justifications for harming non-Jews, including civilians, during wartime.
The book was widely condemned across the political spectrum, including by mainstream rabbinical authorities, Israeli legal figures, and human rights organizations who labeled its contents incitement to violence.
No interpretation of faith should be used to dehumanize innocent people or justify violence against civilians.

So even if it’s a one year old baby, because they assume that that baby’s going to grow up to be a threat to Israel, it’s justified to murder that baby.
