ELON MUSK WILL BE REMEMBERED AS THE RICHEST MAN WHO KILLED THE POOREST PEOPLE.
When Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency went after USAID, he boasted that the agency was being fed into “the wood chipper.” Programs that delivered food, medicine and HIV treatment to some of the poorest places on earth were frozen or shut down. A major study in The Lancet projected that the cuts could lead to more than 14 million additional deaths by 2030, including millions of children.
That’s a projection, and Musk and the administration dispute it. But the choice behind it is not in dispute. The wealthiest man on the planet, with a fortune big enough to fund a thousand clinics, helped cut the lifeline for people who have nothing.
And he did it with a joke, a chainsaw and a megaphone with hundreds of millions of followers.
The man with more money than any person in history made the decision to help shut down a lifeline for people who have nothing, and treated it like a joke.
Wealth isn’t what history judges. What matters is who suffered when you used your power.
Musk will be remembered. It just won’t be the way he wants.

Jennifer Welsh: I think that Elon Musk’s life accomplishment should forever be. And I think if we all say this on the internet as much as possible, the richest man in the world that killed the poorest people in the world. That is who he is. There’s this tweet by this author, I think it’s like Joyce Oates or I can’t remember her name, but she talks about how Elon Musk has this bank account. Right? But he’s not rich in any other way. You never see him post about like, I love my dog or I had a great trip, or I went on a wonderful dinner with this person. All of the things like what we’re doing right now. We went to a great show with Jim and Jennifer. He never tweets about any of those things that make your life rich. It’s grievances. He doesn’t even talk about, like the weather being nice. It’s all of this just dark. Why is kids never talks about that unless the one that he hates, his trans child that he says is dead. And I just think about all the time and I remind you all, my audience all the time that we have something that they’ll never have. Like if I had a trans child, I love my two sons like, I don’t know how I could get more love for them, but if they were trans, I would figure out a way to love them quadruple because they’re going to need extra love, because the world is going to be mean to them. And Elon Musk, his daughter, isn’t because he’s a narcissist, a narcissist see, their children as extensions of themselves. And so that’s not an extension that he likes. And he just sends his kid down the river. It’s just there’s a documentary coming out about him four hours long. I had Ashley Saint Clair on, his baby mama. She spilled all the beans about it, but we should all watch it. But I just think it’s important as we feel so like these guys are bullies and they’re just abusive. They’re abusing all of us all the time. We all have so much more than they will ever fucking have.
