Benjamin N. Pennington, 26, died from wounds sustained during a March 1 attack on Prince Sultan Air Base, becoming one of the U.S. service members killed in the ongoing Iran conflict.
His family gathered in Fort Knox as his remains were transferred to Godman Army Airfield, marking a solemn return home.
