Ayisha Siddiqa: Students are singing the songs of the anti-apartheid movement, the anti-Vietnam War movement. They’re standing in the same places that students did generations ago. And history tells us that every single time that these anti-war war cries have been heard, students have always been on the right side of history. Universities can’t function without their students. Universities have to protect their students by virtue of student accepting this education. And so universities’ first stakeholders to lobby the state of Israel. It should be their students.
